RLC, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and maintain grounds by performing the following duties:

  • Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts and fixtures. 
  • Receive electronic work orders via email or text or verbal instructions from supervisor.
  • Clean internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. 
  • Empty trash cans and consolidate trash for weekly pickup.
  • Paint interior and exterior walls and trim.
  • Operate backhoe to dig trenches for water and sewer pipe.
  • Repair parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.
  • Repair or replace building brick, stone, and concrete.
  • Maintain and repair wood parts of buildings to include drywall.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts such as batteries, hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as trucks, golf carts, scissor lifts and other machinery.
  • Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED with a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Other Qualifications: Must be able to travel frequently to Airbases along the Gulf Coast that may require overnight stays to oversee and complete various maintenance projects. Must be able to operate various mechanical repair equipment such as hand drills, power tools, plumbing, electrical repair equipment, etc.
